With 10 years of supervision, mentoring, and tutoring experience I use my clinical skills to assist you with understanding content material, prepare for exams, and understand clinical case studies. I also specialize in career development and graduate school preparation. Currently I am the Executive Director of a drug and alcohol facility in Southern California. Most of my time spent in my job is developing, training, supervising, and teaching staff as well as maintaining all licenses, accreditation, and continuing to develop our program with the highest standards of care. Tutoring came as my way to help others struggling in school. One of my favorite moments when working with someone is when they have a "light bulb" or "a-ha" moment and truly begin to understand the material.

Hobbies
Much of my free time is spent with my dog and husband outside, hiking, at the dog park or beach. I enjoy seeing exhibits at museums and art galleries as well as, reading, and scrap-booking. I became interested in psychology in the 7th grade when I purchased my first Introduction to Psychology book and wrote a paper on the subconscious. I have been fascinated by the discipline and people ever since. I have extensive knowledge in most categories of psychology and I am able to tutor individuals studying psychology in most grades or levels of schooling.
