I graduated from the University of California in San Diego, with a BS in human biology in 2010. I also minored in psychology when I was there. I continued my studies in DC, at the George Washington University, where I worked hard to earn my master's of public health. I am experienced at teaching students in both private and classroom settings. I've always had the opportunity to tutor elementary and middle school students, assisting with in-class work, homework, and projects in a variety of subjects. My specialty is helping develop methods for students to study and keep organized. I value the academic foundations built in these early years, and encourage my students to form quality study habits that will help them throughout their school career, from elementary through college. I'm able to tutor students in all elementary and middle school subjects, including reading, math, writing, test prep, and study skills. I believe students need these basics in order to be confident students, work well with teachers and other students, and to be able to express themselves with intelligence. When I'm not tutoring, I like to learn about various cultures by traveling. I also love to swim, run, and bake pastries.
